A new Dentist

Dentist diary starts today. Shock at the size of the issues, and trying to come to terms with it. If your kidney was in such a state they would insist they get you in and fix it for free. I have seen the peridontist today. Brilliant analysis of bleeding gums, great advice about diet, brush use, bone density and roots. Turns out I have exceptionally long roots and am very lucky. 3 hygiene appts to make then 2 huge deep cleaning sessions under anaesthetic. They took a lot of photos though, its not a gallery I want to flick through. £2,000 all in. My mouth will be worth the same as a small car. Then there's the normal dentistry. A tooth that I love, top back left, its gotta come out. But not til next week. Sadly 5 of it's colleagues are in trouble too. They are not painful and gave me no indication. And that will cost, but more of that next time.
