Thursday night, and Geography tomorrow

Sorted out this great map montage of Southampton. I am hoping it is a useful
addition to the students' coursework.

We had a fun demonstration of patio shading awning. It was a fantastic piece
of kit but probably too expensive - about the same as a small car. Perhaps
next year.

The prisons are full. I am sure Community Service has to be the right thing.
More suitable education for disaffected kids....grrr, its easy really.

No heater!

OK so there's not heater in our office and so I brought our fan heater in. Roasty toasty. Having a joke today about the slots on our next podcast. I wanted to use an interview with Mike Heaver - think I will just do an mp3, less hassle and can do it on a pc in audacity?? Got the folders set on hants site and so ready to roll. Catering at school is much better and the health of the technicians is in better hands.

Cold at work and excel was rockin

Cold at work today. Had 3 layers on which should be good enough. Got nested "if" statements sorted. Watched Big Brother with big son. It really is vacant stuff. Tried to get podcast sorted today but the server was down, still, I now have cyberduck ftp.

Getting started in 2007

Got the podcast done today although Mike and I are reluctant radio stars. Matt Dean is helping to upload it tomorrow. Here is me and Mike at the show, what a stupid looking thing that SmartBoard is.

It sounds OK, but the quality can be improved, lets see how we improve.....
